Nadal: “I know it is almost impossible to win here”

Rafael Nadal is now in Montreal, but said that winning this tournament again this time is “almost impossible”. “This comes very quickly and I’m not ready. I will do what it can,” said a cautious Nadal, who officially does not compete since he was eliminated in the May 31 final round of Roland Garros by the Swedish Robin Soderling.

About U.S. Open

About the only major missing from his achievements, the United States Open, Nadal said: “It is impossible to think about it. I am talking about winning the U.S. Open and I speak to find and recover the one hundred percent of my injury” .

“My only goal for now is to prepare hard and play well here. I know it will be almost impossible to win,” he said.

“I do not know how many weeks I need. I will work hard to be ready as quickly as possible. Having suffered an injury and being unable to compete, one must be sure to find one hundred percent,” he concluded.
