Powell competes in Berlin
In the end Powell and several of his compatriots may apply to the World Athletics Championships in Berlin. According to the agent broker Jamaican Federation has given back and the sprinters fail to compete.
On the morning of Wednesday announced that the IAAF had received a notification for several Jamaican athletes, including Asaf Powell and Olympic champion Shelly-Ann Fraser, was dropped from the list of American country for the World.

The reason was that Powell, the Olympic 100 meters champion, Shelly-Ann Fraser, the Olympic 400 meters champion, Melaine Walker, the vallista Brigitte Foster-Hylton and sprinter Shericka Williams did not go to the concentration of Nuremberg and decided to go to their coach, in northern Italy.
“The Jamaican Federation sent a letter to the IAAF asking to remove the athletes from the registration list. There were several meetings and the Jamaican Federation sent another letter asking to cancel the previous one. Remove the athletes was not good for anyone. If no run, everybody loses, “said Paul Doyle, Agent Powell.
