Puyol signs his new contract until 2013 with a clause of 10 million euros
FC Barcelona captain Carlos Puyol and the Catalan club signed a new defense contract last week after reaching a tentative agreement to renew, and thus end the rumors that placed the international entity outside the Blaugrana.
According to reports the club, the agreement between Puyol and Barcelona and is the official stamp of the signature, only fringe slope. Puyol, contract ending next June 30 and could have walked away free, will now have a buyout clause of 10 million, provided that 60% play games per season.
