GP Mugello: Spanish rule in the first free
The Spanish Pol Espargaro (Derbi) relegated to second place on the first day of free practice for the Italian Grand Prix 125 cc which took place in Mugello with time already served and for just 58 milliseconds, the Spanish also Nicolas Terol (Aprilia).
The first leader of the time table was Nicolas Terol, in his second round, although since that time, changes occurred in front of the classification, in which a Spanish, Pol Espargaro took a few turns in being up, but when got it and did not abandon their struggle for the best time of the displacement.
As Terol or Espargaro, who stood in their studios for a series of changes at the beginning of the training, was also Marc Marquez, who lingered longer than necessary in the early laps but then got in the wake of the fastest category and sometimes in front of the table, despite the odd scare.
In the final minutes and trying to avoid the rush wake of its rivals, Pol Espargaro the fastest time, seconded by Terol and Krummenacher of Switzerland in third place after break Marquez, Vazquez and Rabat, but as is usual in this category until not fulfilled, real time anything can happen and so it happened.
With time already served, when Terol crossed the finish line, “shaved” the fifty thousandths Espargaró it had surpassed him by further 111 milliseconds longer to be placed first, while Britain’s Bradley Smith and Vazquez beat Krummenacher for third and, with Marquez, end all in just eight tenths of a second apart.
But moments later sprang the surprise when everyone realized that Pol Espargaro was still on track and going to lap pace, which eventually Terol got to relegate to second place by just 58 thousandths of a second.
