Schumi, birthday at work
The German turns 41 years old and celebrating by continuing to prepare for the return to the track in testing in February

Michael Schumacher
we wonder if when he thought the day of his birthday 41/mo Michael Schumacher imagined one step from returning to Formula 1. If the answer is yes, it is fairly certain that was one of the few to do so, because the time of Schumacher driving a car seemed to belong only to the past.
Instead a return to driving a Mercedes F1 GP makes the birthday of German very special. In recent days, the boss of Formula 1, Bernie Ecclestone said that Schumacher will have to contend with the young riders who are part of the circus world champion, ready to find additional stimuli in the competition against one of the most successful drivers in the history of Formula 1 , sometimes described as a true icon of the sport.
Needless to say at the start of the world championship, on March 14, Michael Schumacher will be the oldest driver on the grid. The history of Formula 1, however, is dotted with the pilots who not only took to the track, but have also achieved important results. Among these, for example, Nigel Mansell, one of six drivers who exceeded the age of 40, managed to win a Grand Prize (in Australia in 1994).
An elite which would strongly Schumacher enter. Because, as stated on the same German pilot, his return to F1 is not a mere publicity stunt, but the fruit of the desire to return to compete at the highest levels. Also for this reason, past the celebrations for her birthday, Schumacher will return to work to get ready for his return: in Valencia, from 1 February, the German take to the track in the first qualifying practice session, the first of four tests which will be available before the Bahrain Grand Prix, first race of the new season. A date at which the 41 year-old Schumacher aims to get the best possible way.
