This will be the first time that the Moto GP championship has utilised Silverstone’s new £27 million pit and paddock complex. Construction of the facilities began in April 2010 and it has been completed ahead of schedule.

MotorLand Aragon has been awarded with the Best Grand Prix of the 2010 season after the vote by the 53 heads of world motorcycling team of three categories participants (125, Moto2 and MotoGP). IRTA (International Road Racing Teams Association), which is the association that encompasses all the teams, the award given annually to a circuit.
Aragon Grand Prix MotoGP was held for the first time on 19 September with a audience of 116,931 people at the weekend. This is the first time in the 27-year history of the award that a circuit receives the award in his first year as an organizer. The vice president and spokesman of the Government of Aragon and MotorLand president, José Ángel Biel, was pleased at the news: “It gives me special pride as president of MotorLand, more recognition, in this case to the organization, global teams MotorLand recognize as the best 2010 MotoGP circuit.
