StephonHeyer was born in Lawrenceville Georgia, in 1984, on January 16. His father’s name is Ronald Heyer, while his mother is called Glenda Heyer. He went to high school in Snellville, a school called Brookwood High school, where he also was a football letterman for 2 years. After high school, several division one colleges recruited him, with some of them including Georgia, Clemson, Michigan, Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky, Auburn and Ohio State. On the other hand, he went to college in Maryland, where he acquired a degree in criminal justice and criminology in 2006.

While in college, he played 50 games, with 37 left tackle starts. In his first year, Steve Heyer played 13 games, with one game where he started. In his second year, he also played 13 games, and was able to finish the season as the lineman with the second best rating. In his third year, he started in all of his 11 games and was the lineman with the highest rating for that season in the team. In his final year, he was honorably mentioned as the All-ACC lineman, after he had been chosen to play at the Champs Sports Bowl, where he made an excellent impression. His college career ended with his selection to play in the Hula Bowl of 2007.

A break from the norm

It all began in 1908 when Marquis Mills Converse created a rubber shoe company that bypassed a rubber trust refusing to permit the sale of products direct to retailers. Fiercely proud of their independence, they started causing a stir in the catalogue world.

10 years later, the young brand teamed up with a young sport basketball. Chuck Taylor joined the company and, being an avid fan of basketball, started evangelizing about the shoes required to play the great game. The All-Star design was formed, and so began a long line of sponsorships and endorsements that would propel Converse shoes into the spotlight.

In 1935, Converse teamed up with five-time world badminton champion Jack Purcell to create the long-enduring Jack Purcell sneaker. The success of this product gave Converse the authority to produce rubber products for serviceman in World War II.

The birth of rock n roll

By the time rock n roll burst onto the cultural landscape in the 50s, Converse was in a position to supply one of the key looks the high-top sneaker. It was also at this time that the lines of basketball and rock n roll started to cross. By the 70s, legends of the basketball world and the music industry were seen sporting Converse shoes.

In 1974, the All-Star design got a makeover, and the vibrant new style seemed to strike a chord with more and more musicians and sports stars alike. In a line stretching from Marquis Mills Converses original actions, the brand was adopted by a whole generation of rebellious rockers and skaters.

Hit after hit

The success continued when Converse launched The Weapon model in the 80s, which became the universal sneaker for basketball teams worldwide. Add to this the popularity of the All-star 2000, and were ready for the aforementioned resurgence in the 21^st century.

The uniform for music-lovers everywhere, Converse continues to represent the spirit of the trail blazer perfect for those who dare to be different and want to change the world for the better.

On October 9, 2009, McNown was initiated into the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame. He played as a Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, and San Francisco 49ers professional. After the scouting combine, Doubts were expressed by some scouts about McNown’s throwing arm’s power. Since Jim McMahon, McNown was the Bears quarterback highest-drafted. Cade Mcnown started his first game for the Bears on October 10 following a hamstring injury the previous week. During the game on December 26 following a poor performance against the Rams, he chose to sit out during the second half. He broke rookie records for completions and passing attempts by the time he had finished the season.

He was named the starter over Matthews, though that season’s performance was obviously worse. Consequently, the Bears fell to 1-6 under McNown, inspiring the home crowd to chant for Miller’s return. McNown suffered a devastating shoulder injury during the seventh game of the season. Cade Mcnown started one more game that season, against San Francisco, and benched himself for the last game of the season. During the 2001 preseason, McNown was traded to the Miami Dolphins.

He dropped down the depth chart in Chicago, below Matthews and Miller, and ended up in the competition for the position of third-string against Danny Wuerffel. The Dolphins placed him as the third-string quarterback, and McNown saw no game play at all that season. Then McNown was traded by the Dolphins to the San Francisco 49ers for a unconfirmed seventh-round draft pick for the 2002 offseason. By then, former head coach of UCLA, Terry Donahue, was the general manager. The 49ers were searching for a quarterback and interest in McNown was briefly raised.

Although McNown started a competition for the Jeff Garcia’s backup spot with Brandon Doman, Tim Rattay and Giovanni Carmazzi, he re-injured his shoulder that preseason. He was placed on injured reserve when the revelation of his needing surgery at the season-end was made. The 49ers released McNown the offseason of 2003. The Calgary Stampeders acquired his rights shortly thereafter even though he was never formally signed.
